To get to know you better, please give us an overview of your responsibilities at Freudenberg.
I work as a Lean/Growtth Manager at Freudenberg Sealing Technologies (FST) Italy, AC Engine Valve Stem Seal Europe. Together with my colleagues, I have the great opportunity to support the plant along our journey for continuous improvement. The best part of my job is that it allows me to work with people. Trainings and kaizen events are an important aspect of my daily tasks. To develop the potential of people and structures is always a challenging job, but I am happy to take on it. Besides my tasks regarding trainings and kaizen, I support the local team with wider projects. In fact, lean thinking can be applied in several areas, from production to administration. As member of the FST Growtth team, I provide support working on common topics and sharing my experience helping in the TPM Exchange Day organization.
What makes working with Freudenberg Sealing Technologies different from other companies or teams you’ve worked with?
I think that Freudenberg truly believes in cooperation and teamwork. The Growtth statement, “all of us is smarter than one of us”, is more than a motto: it is something that can be found in our daily work and often involves both customers and suppliers. Together we are able to reach greater results and higher levels of performance.

One colleague, 100% dedicated to the Lean/Growtth, is helping me deal with the daily tasks while other colleagues are involved in Growtth activities according to the plant’s needs. We all contribute to the company’s continuous improvement, and my team is providing support to help everyone develop and implement ideas.
