Every two years, ISH sets new standards in Frankfurt am Main on water and energy issues. In 2015, for the first time, nearly 2,500 exhibitors and nearly 200,000 visitors attended the event and gathered information in an approximately 260,000-square-meter exhibition area. The organizer expects to set new records in 2017 as well, since the market leaders and technological pacesetters have all confirmed they will attend and present their global innovations to the public.
In 2015, 61 percent of all exhibitors and 39 percent of all visitors came from abroad, underscoring ISH’s role as a leading global trade fair.
ISH’s slogan for 2017 is “Water. Energy. Life.” Freudenberg Sealing Technologies provides special sealing solutions for these segments, including solutions for efficient building equipment. Efficient technology is extremely important for the development and maintenance of modern buildings. Here the issue comes down to the right seals and their proper functioning – whether they are in residential or commercial buildings, in systems that regulate internal temperatures with heating and cooling (whether via water or air), and the distribution of water in entire buildings or even in systems that convey people and goods within building interiors.
Materials in drinking water and gas applications, in particular, are subject to numerous standards and requirements. Freudenberg Sealing Technologies has taken on the task of developing materials that meet the latest provisions.
