34th Aachen Colloquium

The well-established Aachen Colloquium has a new focus: the industry will meet at the Aachen Colloquium Sustainable Mobility in 2025. As the name suggests, the focus of this prestigious event is clearly on sustainable mobility solutions. As always, participants can look forward to exciting discussions, interesting in-depth expert presentations, innovations at the accompanying trade exhibition and many familiar industry faces. 

Freudenberg experts will be sharing their knowledge of heat shields, the battery pressure equalization valve DIAvent and general battery applications: Thermal and pressure management currently top the list of innovative developments. The result is heat shields developed especially for lithium-ion battery systems, for example. In the event of a cell malfunction, they prevent the heat from “spilling over” to neighboring cells, a huge safety advantage. DIAvent has proven itself as an intelligent pressure management solution for large batteries for electric and hybrid vehicles. The patented nonwovens it contains reliably ensure multifunctional battery pressure equalization even under extreme conditions. In addition to these innovations, Freudenberg Sealing Technologies will share more insights on two focus products in the battery product family: advanced battery cell caps and envelopes which offer high energy density, superior thermal management, and robust performance.
