Specialized spring-loaded PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) seal designed for dynamic scroll-type air conditioning compressor applications for sealing the seal plate to the fixed scroll. Seal design allows for high angles of misalignment without reducing sealing performance. Designed for easy assembly into the housing.
